Ginny joined Shannon’s Pet Sitting in July 2014 and serves as the primary weekday pet sitter, covering morning and midday visits in the Western Service area. A true team player, Ginny is always ready to help out during evenings or weekends when needed.
With a deep passion for animals, Ginny has built an impressive background in animal rescue and pet care. She has volunteered for Free Spirit Siberian Rescue in Harvard, IL since 2012, assisting with:
- Fundraising events
- Processing donations
- Donor stewardship
Before that, Ginny volunteered for H.E.L.P., Inc. in Saint Charles, IL from 2003-2008, where she became a Licensed Cat Foster through the Illinois Department of Agriculture, caring for up to 9 foster cats at a time. Her dedication extended to assisting neighbors with feral cat colonies, showcasing her compassion for all animals.

Ginny shares her life with an energetic group of pets—two Siberian Huskies, an Alaskan Malamute, four cats, and tropical fish. She and her husband are often spotted walking their three large dogs through the streets of Dundee, turning heads and sparking conversations with neighbors, kids, and passersby.
