What are the earliest and latest visit times?

Morning visits start as early as 6:00 AM, and the latest evening visits are scheduled at 9:00 PM. Twice-daily visits are typically spaced 12 hours apart.

How much time is spent caring for pets?

Standard visits last 30 minutes, with an option for 60-minute visits. Overnight stays typically last 12 hours.

Can extra time be spent with pets?

Extended visits can be arranged upon request, with pricing details available upon inquiry.

Is proof of vaccinations required?

Yes, rabies vaccination records are required for all dogs, as mandated by county and state regulations.

What types of medications can be administered?

Pills, liquids, injections, transdermal medications, inhalers, and subcutaneous fluids can be administered as needed.

Is there an extra charge for administering medication?

There is no additional charge for administering pills, transdermal medications, inhalers, or injections. However, subcutaneous fluid administration incurs an extra fee due to the time required.

What happens if a pet becomes ill while the owner is away?

If a pet shows signs of illness, the owner is notified immediately. Veterinary care is arranged if necessary, including visits to an emergency clinic if required.

Are references available?

Yes, references can be provided for first-time clients. Testimonials from satisfied clients are also available online.

Safety and Security

Are pet care providers bonded and insured?

Yes, all providers are bonded and insured for added security.

What does it mean to be insured?

A liability insurance policy is in place to cover damages and protect pet owners from financial loss in case of accidents.

What does it mean to be bonded?

A dishonesty bond ensures reimbursement in the event of theft. Any worker entering a home should be bonded for the owner’s peace of mind.

Is a house key required?

A key is requested in addition to any garage or door code to ensure access in case of power or battery failure. Clients can choose to have their key retained for future services or returned after pet-sitting services. A service charge applies for key pickup visits.

Can pet-sitting services be provided for aggressive pets?

Behavioral concerns are assessed during the initial consultation. If a pet has a history of aggression, additional visits may be required before service begins to ensure safe care.

How are shy cats handled?

Shy cats are never forced into interaction. Unless they require medication, they are allowed to approach on their own terms. Their food, water intake, litter box use, and overall demeanor are monitored.

Additional Services and Policies

Can pets be taken to dog parks or on outdoor adventures?

Leashed walks on local trails or car rides are possible with owner permission. For safety reasons, off-leash dog park visits are not included.

Are boarding or kennel services available?

Only in-home pet care is provided. Referrals to licensed boarding facilities can be offered if needed.
